We’re constantly working on making Telegram( Telegram电脑版本)the best messaging app in the world. We’ve recently released a new update for our Android app that adds some useful features and fixes some bugs. Here’s what’s new.
Hello world
You can send a message to the Telegram Bot API with a simple HTTP POST request. Here’s an example:
POST /newsbot HTTP/1.1
Host: api.telegram.org
Content-Type: application/JSON; charset=utf-8
What’s New in Telegram Android Goodies?
Telegram Android Goodies is a new app for Android that brings a host of new features to the popular messaging platform. The update includes:
New emoji reactions, including clapping hands, shrugging shoulders, and more.
A variety of sticker sets from different artists, including Marvel superheroes and Star Wars characters like Han Solo and Princess Leia (hooray!).
Sticker emojis that let you express what you’re feeling with just one tap (happy face emoji).
Creating Chats from the Contacts Menu
You can also create a new chat from the contacts menu.
Tap on the contact’s name, and then tap Create New Chat.
If you have more than one conversation open with that contact, it will appear as an option under Conversation Only.
From the chat screen, tap on your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen. This will bring up a menu that lets you switch to other chats or create a new one.
New Contacts Settings Section
The Contacts section of the app has been revamped to include a new tab called Settings, which shows you all the details about your contacts. Here you can see their profile picture, username, and status message at the top of their contact card. Below that is a section showing their last seen time and last active time. They will also be marked with an icon next to them if they are online right now. The final line in this new section shows who else you have in common with this contact in case there’s someone else on your friend list who might know them well enough to connect you two together.
To see more detailed information such as phone numbers or emails associated with each user’s account (if applicable), just tap into any individual member of your friend list and hit Settings from within their contact card!
Forwarding Messages to Multiple Users
Forwarding messages to multiple users is a useful feature that lets you forward one message to multiple contacts. This can be done in two ways:
Forwarding via the notification bar (Android 4.3+)
Forwarding by long-pressing on a message and selecting “Forward” from the menu that appears*What are the benefits of forwarding messages?
Forwarding lets you share information with other users without having them join your conversation first. For example, if you’re working together on an article and want an entire team member to list as your recipients, simply forward them all a message with instructions for how they should contribute their part of it!
Seeing Channel Member Counts in the Profile Area
You can see the number of people in a channel, just like you would with any other group chat.
You can also see the member count in the profile area, which makes it easier to tell if you’ve got something like a mass migration coming your way!
And finally, when you start a new chat with someone from that channel (or they start one with you), it’ll show how many people are in the group so that you know if it’s worth making some new friends!
Emojis as Chat Backgrounds!
Telegram(电报网) has a new feature that allows you to use emojis as chat backgrounds. You can change the chat background for each chat and each contact, making it possible to use custom backgrounds depending on whether you’re messaging with friends or family members.
You can also choose any emoji in the library as your background, allowing you to create fun and exciting conversations with friends or coworkers.
